Employee Benefits Account Manager

Required Qualifications
  • Current California life/health insurance license
  • College degree
  • 3-5 years of human resources and/or benefits experience
  • Experience working with small and large employers insurance plans
  • Experience working with insurance carriers
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer orientation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and other PC-based applications
  • Courteous and able to maintain professional appearance and manner
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Proactive, can do attitude
Responsibilities:
  • Renewals for large and small employers
  • Send and manage RFP process with insurance carriers
  • Review inbound proposals for bid specification accuracy
  • Completing new client implementation and renewal paperwork
  • Resolve claim and other services issue for clients and their employees
  • Perform clerical duties associated with servicing such as filing, updating client database and prospect
  • Create custom employee communication packages
  • Assist in employee meetings
  • Perform additional assignments and specials projects as requested
