Employee Benefits Account Manager
Required Qualifications- Current California life/health insurance license
- College degree
- 3-5 years of human resources and/or benefits experience
- Experience working with small and large employers insurance plans
- Experience working with insurance carriers
- Excellent interpersonal and customer orientation skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and other PC-based applications
- Courteous and able to maintain professional appearance and manner
- Strong attention to detail
- Organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks
- Proactive, can do attitude
- Renewals for large and small employers
- Send and manage RFP process with insurance carriers
- Review inbound proposals for bid specification accuracy
- Completing new client implementation and renewal paperwork
- Resolve claim and other services issue for clients and their employees
- Perform clerical duties associated with servicing such as filing, updating client database and prospect
- Create custom employee communication packages
- Assist in employee meetings
- Perform additional assignments and specials projects as requested
